What a positive announcement.
Red Baron has a complete collection of Asterix albums and at least 60 centimeters of secondary literature on the odd couple, Asterix and Obelix, and their surroundings.
In mythology, a griffin is a legendary creature that borrows the body and face of an eagle and a lion's back and hind legs.
The above mystery page has been added to the announcement of the new comic.
Red Baron started reading Asterix comics in 1969, when he began his work at CERN, and struggled with Molière's language.
Already in the third volume, the two heroes started to travel, adventuring into the Goths' territory.
The Goth comic harps on stereotypes about French readers' German neighbors. Their dialogues in this volume are in French, though set in Gothic-type letters. The Goths are depicted as martial males wearing spiked helmets.
… where it's (always) raining, the beer is warm, and Obelix's favorite diet, wild boar, is served cooked in mint sauce.
Red Baron is looking forward to October 21.
